【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheperformancerequirementsforthelimitedflamespreadpropertiesofmaterials,materialassembliesandprotectiveclothinginordertoreducethepossibilityoftheclothingburningandtherebyitselfconstitutingahazard.Additionalrequirementsforclothingarealsospecified.ProtectiveclothingcomplyingwiththisInternationalStandardisintendedtoprotectworkersagainstoccasionalandbriefcontactwithsmallignitingflames,incircumstanceswherethereisnosignificantheathazardandwithoutthepresenceofanothertypeofheat.Whenprotectionagainstheathazardsisnecessaryinadditiontoprotectionagainstlimitedspreadflammability,thenstandards,suchasISO11612,aremoreappropriate.Aclassificationsystemisgivenformaterials,materialassembliesandgarmentswhicharetestedaccordingtoISO15025:2000,ProcedureA.
