【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversexpandedorexfoliatedvermiculitethermalinsulatingmaterialintheformofdrycementorplaster,intendedtobemixedwithasuitableproportionofwater,appliedasaplasticmass,anddriedinplace,foruseasinsulationonsurfacesoperatingattemperaturesbetween100x00B0;F(38x00B0;C)and1800x00B0;F(982x00B0;C).Thecementshallnotbeusedwhereitwillbeexposedtocombustionconditions,suchasthehotfaceliningofafurnace.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.e.1.3Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section10,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Whentheinstallationoruseofthermalinsulationmaterials,accessoriesandsystems,mayposesafetyorhealthproblems,themanufacturershallprovidetheuserwithappropriatecurrentinformationregardinganyknownproblemsassociatedwiththerecommendeduseofthecompany''sproducts.Themanufacturershallalsorecommendprotectivemeasurestobeemployedinthesafeutilizationofsaidproducts.
