【摘要】:Electricalinsulatingoilmaycontainsmallamountsofdissolvedmetalsderivedeitherdirectlyfromthebaseoilorfromcontactwithmetalsduringrefiningorservice.Whencopperispresent,itactsasacatalystinpromotingoxidationoftheoil.Thistestmethodisusefulforresearchfornewoilsandtoassesstheconditionofservice-agedoils.Considerationshouldbegiventothelimitsofdetectionoutlinedinthescope.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofcopperinneworusedelectricalinsulatingoilofpetroleumoriginbyatomicabsorptionspectrophotometry.1.2Thelowestlimitofdetectabilityisprimarilydependentuponthemethodofatomization,butalsoupontheenergysource,thefuelandoxidant,andthedegreeofelectricalexpansionoftheoutputsignal.Thelowestdetectableconcentrationisusuallyconsideredtobeequaltotwicethemaximumvariationofthebackground.Forflameatomization,thelowerlimitofdetectabilityisgenerallyintheorderof0.1ppmor0.1mg/kg.Fornon-flameatomization,thelowerlimitofdetectabilityislessthan0.01ppm.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Seeforspecificprecautionarystatements.
