【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforthedeterminationoforganicallycombinedsulfuricanhydrideinsulfatedoils.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheorganicallycombinedsulfuricanhydrideexistinginasampleofsulfatedoilbyextractingtheundecomposedsulfatedfatandotherfattymatteroveranacidulated,concentratedsaltsolution,boilingtheresiduewithsulfuricacidafterevaporatingthesolvent,andtitratingtheproductsofreaction.ThistestmethodisapplicableonlytosulfatedoilsthatsplitofftheircombinedSO3uponboilingwithmineralacids,includingsamplescontainingsodiumacetateorothercompoundsthatcannotbeaccuratelytitratedinwatersolutionwithmethylorangeastheindicator.ThistestmethodwasderivedfromTestMethodsD500,Sections20through24,andALCAMethodH-43.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thehygroscopicpropertiesofwoodandwood-basedproductstreatedwithfire-retardantchemicalsareoftengreaterthanforuntreatedproducts.Thisisparticularlytrueatthehigherrelativehumidityconditions.Thishigherhygroscopicitysometimesisthecauseforstaining,decay,poorpaintadhesion,andmigrationandexudingofchemicalsandmoistureatthehighhumidities.Corrosionofmetalfastenerssometimesalsooccurs.Theresultsobtainedwiththisstandardareimportantinidentifyingtreatmentswithlowhygroscopicproperties.Resultscanbeusefulindeterminingexposurelimitationsinserviceforspecifictreatedproducts.Buildingcodesandotherspecificationsforfire-retardant-treatedwoodforinterioruseincluderequirementsbasedonthistestmethod.1.1Thistestmethodprescribestheprocedurefordeterminingthemoisturecontentoffire-retardant-treatedwoodandwood-basedproductsamplesafterexposuretoastandardhighrelativehumidityconditionof92x00B1;2%at27x00B1;2x00B0;C(81x00B1;4x00B0;F).1.2Thetextofthistestmethodreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthistestmethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundvaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
