【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscorrugatedaluminumpipeintendedforuseforstormwaterdrainage,underdrains,theconstructionofculverts,andsimilaruses.Pipecoveredbythisspecificationisnotnormallyusedfortheconveyanceofsanitaryorindustrialwastes.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotincluderequirementsforbedding,backfill,ortherelationshipbetweenearth-coverloadandsheetthicknessofthepipe.Experiencehasshownthatthesuccessfulperformanceofthisproductdependsupontheproperselectionofsheetthickness,typeofbeddingandbackfill,controlledmanufactureintheplant,andcareintheinstallation.Thepurchasermustcorrelatetheabovefactorsandalsothecorrosionandabrasionrequirementsofthefieldinstallationwiththesheetthickness.ThestructuraldesignofcorrugatedaluminumpipeandtheproperinstallationproceduresaregiveninPracticesB790/B790MandB788/B788M,respectively.Aprocedureforusinglife-cyclecostanalysistechniquestoevaluatealternativedrainagesystemdesignsusingcorrugatedmetalpipeisgiveninPracticeA930.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
