【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverstheclassificationofsulfoneplasticssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.Thepropertiesincludedinthisspecificationarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesewillbespecifiedbyusingthesuffixesinSection.Thisspecificationisintendedtobeameansofcallingoutsulfoneplasticsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticsfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisspecification.Sulfonepolymers,beingthermoplastic,arereprocessableandrecyclable.Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofthosesulfonepolymermaterials,providedthatanyspecificrequirementsaremet.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ReferenceGuideD5033forinformationanddefinitionsrelatedtorecycledplastics.Note2ThereisnoequivalentorsimilarISOstandard.
