【摘要】:Thepermissiblelevelofheavymetalsincertaincoatingsisspecifiedbygovernmentalregulatoryagencies.Thistestmethodprovidesafullydocumentedprocedurefordetermininglowconcentrationsofchromiumpresentinbothwater-andsolvent-reduciblecoatingstodeterminecompliance.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecontentofchromium(includingchromiumoxide)intherangebetween0.005and1.0%presentinthesolidsofliquidcoatingsorindriedfilmsobtainedfrompreviouslycoatedsubstrates.Thereisnoreasontobelievethathigherlevelscouldnotbedeterminedbythistestmethod,providedthatappropriatedilutionsandadjustmentsinspecimensizeandreagentquantitiesaremade.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection7.
